Welcome to Fourth Grade

We are very happy that you are our class this year.  Together we will have a super year full of new, exciting and challenging learning experiences.

We have important rules to follow in order to learn together.  Be sure to go over these rules with your family.

Classroom Rules

1. Come to class prepared to work and learn.

2. Respect yourself and others.

3. Use listening skills while others are speaking.

4. Follow directions.

Classroom Consequences

1. Verbal reminder of rules or request to alter behavior. (Maximum of 2)

2. Lunch detention

3. Conference with teacher

4. Contact home

5. After school detention (3:05-3:35 P.M. we will give one day notice)

6. Disciplinary referral

Supply List

4 1 Subject notebooks and a Spanish folder ( We have provided a homework folder, 3 pencils with erasers, pencil sharpener, and a pencil case)

Homework

You will have homework every day (reading and math).  Sometimes there will be no math homework if we just took a quiz or a test.  A parent/guardian must sign the homework papers each day.  They may also write notes to us on it.  Parents it is very important that we communicate (daily if necessary).  Please develop a routine with your child to read and sign his/her homework papers each day.  Your child will be more successful knowing we are a team.

Classroom Donations

*Hand sanitizer (antibacterial), tissue boxes, Clorox wipes, and cups*

We have a fabulous class this year.  We are looking forward to sharing this year with you.

Mrs. Mingo-Crockett and Ms. Musoff

Please sign and return.

My child and I have read and discussed the class letter.
